Sichuan Institute of Industrial Technology is a full-time applied undergraduate institution with a focus on engineering and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. The Institute is located in Deyang, Sichuan Province, which has a rich historical and cultural heritage and is known as one of the 'Major Technical Equipment Manufacturing Base in China'. The Institute has two campuses----Luojiang and Mianzhu, covering an area of 2347 Mu (1.56 square kilometers).
The Institute consists of 10 colleges with over 80 majors, including the College of Intelligent Manufacturing and Vehicle Engineering, College of Electronic Information and Computer Engineering, College of Architecture Engineering, College of Economic Management, College of Sports and Health, College of Education, School of International Education, College of Marxism, College of Further Education, and College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It has a total number of more than 30000 students on campus.
The Institute has established close cooperation with local government departments and labor fairs in major cities of China including Shanghai, Chongqing, Nanjing, Mianyang, and Deyang, and built resource sharing and talents platforms with famous enterprises such as Alibaba, Baidu, JD, Bitu, and Zhilian recruitment. Graduates of the Institute are much welcomed by employers for their 'high comprehensive quality, good professionalism, strong hands-on ability and flexibility'. Many students have been selected by famous enterprises such as Mianyang Jiuzhou Group, Changhong Electric Co., COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Co., Ltd., BorgWarner (US) Technology Center in China, Autoliv (Sweden) Electronics Co., Ltd. In China, Faurecia (France) Automotive Component Systems Co., Ltd. In Shanghai, Sichuan Branch of Hunan Zhongda Design Institute, Fuzhou R&D Center of Xinchang Group, FAW Pan Asia Design Institute, Shanghai Yada Automotive Plastic Products Co., Shenzhen BYD, Ltd, etc. Every year over 9.6% of graduates passed postgraduate entrance examination since 2018, and many have been admitted to 'Double First Class' construction universities to continue their postgraduate studies.
Sichuan Institute of Industrial Technology insists on opening-up and continuously promotes international exchanges and cooperation.
